Joseph Murphy chatted with a young Japanese man during a series of lectures in Japan. The man told Murphy that he had been sentenced to be shot during the war. He added that he had been falsely accused.
While in prison, the man kept repeating silently to himself the words of the 91st Psalm. Prior to sleep every night, he would say to his subconscious mind, "I can't be shot. I am God's son, and god can't shoot Himself."
The man knew that there was only One Power and One Life, and that his life was God's life. He told Murphy that subsequently he was released with no explanation and ordered back to duty.
This young man wrote his freedom in his subconscious mind by reiterating the truths of the Psalm and by picturing his freedom.
Whatever you impregnate your subconscious with, it responds accordingly.
